- Estimates can only be given after Kormondy has seen a picture of the furniture to be upholstered (or a similar piece, as from an online catalog) or the piece in person.
- All customers must provide Kormondy with their cell phone number or, if they do not have a cell phone, their home phone number before the piece is delivered to Kormondy’s for reupholstering. Kormondy provides her customers with her cell phone number.
- Payments of cash, check, or, in rare circumstances, PayPal are accepted. A 50 percent deposit of the estimated cost is due when the furniture is received by Kormondy to begin work. The other 50 percent, as well as any other incidental costs (see next item), are due when the customer takes the refinished piece back.
- Incidental costs, such as new foam, additional fabric, springs, etc, are the responsibility of the customer. The client pays only the cost of the items from the warehouse supplier without any markup. Kormondy will wait for the client’s approval of such costs before making any purchases.
- Other supplies, such as welting cord, thread, staples, cotton batting, cambric, decking fabric, and zippers, are paid for by Kormondy unless otherwise stated at the time of the estimate.
